In my honest opinion some men and women can be just friends. It's a relationship that can be built over time. However, it's hard for men and women to have a relationship as friends without falling into a more meaningful relationship such as with romance and love. Influences of their peers and environment play an important role for the development of friendship or more than friendship relationship. You will know this if you are in this situation.
