Relationship Therapy Group
Relationships can sometimes lead to feelings of frustration, anger, concern, or hurt. They can also lead to feelings of joy, happiness, and love. Maybe you're thinking that it's time to start having closer, more fulfilling relationships with your family, friends, colleagues, and/or romantic partner. The Art of Relationships can help!
Creating fulfilling relationships is more of an art than a science. This group is designed to help you practice and experience that art. It can become a "relationship laboratory" where you'll recreate issues and patterns that you experience in your life. Within the safety of the group, you'll have the opportunity to get honest feedback about how others experience you. Often, this opens the door to the expression of deeper feelings and the discovery of dysfunctional family and/or interpersonal patterns.
For many, relationships are only one area of concern. Related topics such as assertiveness, self-esteem, boundaries, codependency, anxiety, depression, bereavement, and shyness are also explored in depth. These or other issues may be preventing you from experiencing life and your relationships to the fullest. Whatever the concern, the group leader and members are there to support and encourage each other every step of the way.
In The Art of Relationships, you'll become part of a community that is similar to a healthy family. In this open and honest environment, you'll learn to express your feelings and get your needs met more effectively. As you gain inspiration and ideas from group members and start making changes in yourself, you may start noticing how your life and relationships start changing - and improving - outside the group.
