Relationships
Relationships can lead to feelings of frustration, anger, concern, or hurt. They can also lead to feelings of love, attraction, and joy. Sometimes we need help dealing with all these types of feelings in relationships! I encourage people who are experiencing relationship issues to consider attending counseling with the other person(s) in the relationship. However, that isn't always practical or possible. I help my clients explore their emotions, their own part in creating what's working or not working, and the goals they may have for the relationship.
For Singles
You don't need to be in a romantic relationship to begin exploring and working on your relationship skills. Together, we can begin to help you understand what hasn't been working in the past and begin to help you feel comfortable making relational changes.
Group Therapy is the Preferred Method of Working on Relationship Issues
Group therapy allows you to work on your relationship issues while being in relationship with a group of people who are working on similar issues. In a safe and supportive environment, you can begin to explore dysfunctional relationship patterns and learn new skills for relating to others.
